Shuya Tan is a corporate attorney focusing her practice on venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, subscription finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. She prepares and negotiates legal documents and agreements on behalf of clients and advises investment funds, investment banks and corporations on their transactions and investment projects.
Shuya previously worked as a corporate law attorney at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP, and King & Wood Mallesons, in the area of asset management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities. Prior to joining RLG, she worked at Alpha Square Group S LLC as its sole in-house legal counsel, where she structured and negotiated fund investment projects such as private equity and venture capital transactions. She was previously legal counsel at China Merchants Bank New York Branch, where she engaged in cross-border finance and M&A transactions with banks and private equity firms. Shuya has also worked at various international companies to provide legal advice and to handle their corporate legal matters.
Shuya is admitted to the bars of New York State and China. She speaks Chinese Mandarin.
